Best Soft Cut Out Sugar Cookie Recipe sugar cookie recipe has a secret ingredient that makes these cookies the SOFTEST and most tasty cookies you’ve ever had! And, unlike sad blob cookies, they keep their shape after baking, so you get exactly what you want. And decorate well

Ingredients

3 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup margarine, softened

1 ½ cups white sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How to Make It

I’ve been using this soft-cut out sugar cookie for years. I sprinkle colored sugar on top before baking, but you could alternatively ice them after they’ve cooled. In this article, I share a soft-cut sugar cookie recipe.

Today I’m so glad to share this dish with you!

Step 1

Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt and put them aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream the margarine and sugar together until light and creamy. One at a time beat in the eggs then stirs in the vanilla extract. Blend in the sifted components gently until they are completely incorporated. Cover and chill dough for 2 hours.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C). Cookie sheets should be greased. Roll out small chunks of chilled dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch on a clean floured surface. Cookie cutters are used to cut out shapes.

Step 3

In a preheated oven, bake for 10 minutes, or until the sides are just golden. Cool on wire racks after removing from cookie sheets. Now, they are completely cooled and soft Christmas cookies are ready to frost.
